Checked my missed calls and saw one from a number with the 01724 area code. After looking it up, found out this code is supposed to be for Scunthorpe and nearby places. Thing is, the exact number I got a call from isn't part of any officially assigned range. According to Ofcom, any number beginning 01724684 shouldn't be in use at all. So I reckon whoever called was probably faking their number to hide who they really are.
