I’ve had a couple of calls from numbers pretending to be BT, saying my internet would get cut off if I didn’t do something. One of the calls was from 01724-890902. It’s pretty annoying, especially since they’re doing it again within two days, and some were even from withheld numbers. I’m not far from sc####thorpe, so I reckon they’re using local area codes to make their scams seem more legit.

Got a cold robotic message, said it was from BT, warning my internet would be cut off today. Couldn't catch the rest 'cause they didn’t go over it again and just hung up.

Got a call on my landline from this number but they didn’t leave any voicemail. Since I didn’t recognise it, I’m guessing it was probably a scam.

Got a recorded call warning me they'd cut off my internet if I didn't act. Definitely a scam, so I blocked the number right away. Watch out, it’s dodgy!

Like others have said, I didn’t pick up cos the number was unfamiliar. If it was something proper or urgent, they’d probably drop a voicemail. So I’m guessing it’s nothing that could help or concern me.

Got a call earlier today from a woman speaking with an Asian accent, claiming to be from TalkTalk. She said there was an issue with my internet being slow. I just ended the call straight away - seemed like a total scam to me.

This morning my home phone lit up with a call from this number, but since it showed as ‘unfamiliar’ on my caller ID, I chose not to pick up. I hung about to check if they’d drop a voicemail, but nope, nothing left. So, I’m not planning to return the call anytime soon!
