I saw this number and thought it was from around here, so I picked up. Then, a robotic voice with an English accent told me it was my bank, saying there were a couple of strange transactions - one from Amazon - adding up to more than £2000, and to press 1 if I didn’t make them. Total scam. I called my bank using the number on my card afterwards, and they said nothing like that happened. These scammers use local numbers to trick you into thinking it’s legit, so watch out!
