Got three calls from someone claiming I'd get £3000. On the last one, they asked me to send £300 first to release the money. They said they were from Manchester but the number was Scarborough. Definitely watch out for this one.

I got a call from what looked like a number from Scarborough, but the bloke sounded Indian and I couldn’t make out a word he was saying, so I just hung up. Then, less than a minute later, my phone rang again, this time with a Glastonbury area code. It was the same guy claiming he’d missed my call. I told him, “Wow, impressive you managed to get from Scarborough to Glastonbury in less than a minute. Now please buzz off.”

Received a call from a bloke claiming to represent Claims Direct Manchester. During the initial conversation, he asked which bank I use and mentioned something about sending a cheque. On the second call, he requested my passport number, which I wisely chose not to share. They're set to call again tomorrow, but I'm convinced this is all a scam.
