The calls come from a Scarborough area code, but the bloke on the other end changes every time - always some Yorkshire lad though. They keep saying it’s from the government about a “Solar Energy Review Scheme.” I’ve told them I’m registered with the TPS and even mentioned I saw the TV show about these scams, asking nicely for them to stop calling me. Doesn’t seem to make any difference at all.

Caught a call earlier from a lad with a thick local twang. He was like, "Hello...erm, apologies, but there's been a bit of a hiccup with the system. I’m unable to fetch your details right now. Really sorry for the interruption." And just like that, he disconnected. Odd situation!

There was some noise in the background and a bloke speaking with a local accent said, “Hi... Sorry, it looks like there’s a problem with the system right now. I’m unable to access your info at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience.” Then they just ended the call.
