I received a rather unpleasant call from a company claiming they, “partner with mortgage lenders.” The individual on the line had the audacity to say, “There’s no way you’re in the black with your mortgage, you proper numpty!” When I attempted to return the call, all I got was a cold automated voice saying, “No one can take your call at the moment, goodbye.” I must admit, I feel utterly humiliated by the whole experience.
