Got a call yesterday from someone saying they were with my internet provider (TalkTalk), claiming there was a problem with my connection, maybe a hack or something. They asked to get into my computer to fix it, which seemed very dodgy, so I hung up and called TalkTalk myself. They said they hadn’t made any such call. Then, this morning, I got another ring from a different number (028 9166 7150), same person sounded like them. I told them I'd already checked with TalkTalk yesterday and the call was a sham, and they quickly ended the call.
