Yet another mysterious call from an unidentified number that just won't leave a message on the voicemail! This time, it appears to be coming from Scarborough in Yorkshire. Given that our number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it’s quite clear these must be scam artists. I’d advise anyone to be cautious with any communications from them. Definitely worth treating any such calls with a healthy dose of scepticism!

Got a call from what looked like Scarborough, Yorkshire. They never bother to leave a voicemail which was odd. We don’t have any mates or contacts up in Yorkshire, and since our number's on the TPS, it’s pretty clear this is just some kind of scammer ringing us up.

It seems that the person calling is associated with a curry takeaway on St Nicholas Street in Scarborough. Every time I let the answering machine kick in, they promptly hang up. Given that our number is on the Telephone Preference Service list, it's evident these calls are likely from some sort of scam operation. Best to be wary of any such communications.
