Nice guy on the phone, really polite, just checking if we wanted to buy any ink cartridges for the office. Mentioned something about working with local councils like others have said, but the prices seemed quite reasonable. We didn’t buy anything since we already use another local supplier. I've been absolutely hounded by a chap named Lee Rushfirth, who managed to pull a fast one on both myself and my business. He totally inflated the prices, misrepresented his offerings, and promised complimentary items that never showed up. To top it all off, he added VAT and slapped on an exorbitant shipping fee. Honestly, this bloke is a complete fraud-steer clear! The sales team are clueless and, frankly, appear to be little more than thieves! It’s clear they’re in dire need of some serious retraining, and I reckon the supervisors ought to investigate this mess after I lodged a complaint via email. Just do yourself a favour and avoid this lot!

Back in February 2015, I encountered a business that went by the name YPCC - short for Your Printer Cartridge Company. The representative kept insisting they didn’t offer refilled or compatible cartridges, assuring me that everything they sold was the genuine article from Epson. They claimed to have some cancelled stock, which explained the steep discounts they were advertising. I found the prices rather strikingly low. Given my past experiences, I felt a bit dubious, so I decided to jot down their number and 'give them a ring later'. They do seem to have an online presence, and if I'm not mistaken, they're located in Scarborough. The person I spoke to even handed me a freephone number listed on their site. Not entirely convinced about the authenticity of this outfit, to be honest!

CKInk, operating under the guise of Your Printer Cartridge Company, is not peddling authentic cartridges. I've reached out to Trading Standards and will be returning the cartridges along with a formal letter. I strongly advise against using their services-what a dodgy practice at the very least!

I had a rather peculiar phone call from this number, claiming they had printer cartridges available at an unbelievably low price, but apparently, they weren’t refillable ones. I mentioned that I needed to verify the pricing before making any decisions. To my astonishment, they informed me they’d be popping in and out of the office throughout the day! Quite bizarre, if you ask me, and they promised to ring me back. Naturally, I did a bit of digging into their so-called offers, and lo and behold, they’re not even based locally, nor are they affiliated with the local council in any way. It’s clearly just another scam. I’m now eagerly anticipating their return call so I can politely inform them exactly where they can shove their cartridges!

So, I received a call at my office, and my receptionist was informed about some discounted printer cartridges available nearby. They assured her that these weren't refilled or compatible options. However, upon arrival, I found they were Jet Tec cartridges - essentially remanufactured, which qualifies as a refill in my book (and yes, we do keep a record of all conversations). It absolutely infuriated me! To make matters worse, the cartridges were shipped from Scarborough - hardly a stone's throw from London! I promptly sent them back, thankfully since they were on invoice. Truly a right con job!
