Got a missed call from a number in Scarborough. Heard from others that it might be a scam, so be careful with these calls!

Picked up the phone and said hello a couple times, but no one ever responded. Definitely a dodgy call.

A chap called me, asserting he was from some Appointment Booking office and mentioned my wife's name. He went on about her being referred for a significant arthritis issue, sounding rather uneasy that he might be mistaken with the information. I'm left scratching my head about what this was truly all about, especially since we're not even remotely close to Scarborough.

They claim it’s arthritis? How did they even find that out, like did they get it from the doctor? I thought medical stuff was supposed to be private. Also, I don’t even suffer from arthritis! Pretty weird.

I didn’t pick up the phone, so I rang them back. When he answered, he already knew my full name, so clearly the number is linked to my details. Then he started asking if I had arthritis. When I asked why he was ringing me out of the blue, he denied cold calling and claimed he got my info from doctors, hospitals, and online questionnaires. I just told him to piss off.

I picked up but no one was on the other end. Feels like it could’ve been some sort of scam.

This number has popped up a few times on my phone, but they never leave a message. I don’t know anyone from Scarborough, so it’s a bit random. I’ve tried ringing back a couple of times, but no luck, nobody picks up. Probably just another annoying spam call if you ask me.

Got a call from a bloke selling some gadget for arthritis pain. I fired off the typical questions like how they found my number and all that. He reckoned they get recommendations from doctors and hospitals. I’m a bit iffy about it though, so I’m planning to ring up the hospital’s pain management team to see what they reckon before I decide anything!

Just got a call from +441723338822 on my phone a bit ago. The phone flagged it as maybe a scam, and since it's a Scarborough number and I don’t know anyone there, I just ignored it and let it ring out. No message left, so definitely just spam.
