Watch out, this is a charity scam. Don’t ever share your bank info with them. They’ve got a slick way of talking that really tries to trick you.

Got a call from some guy asking for donations for a 'local' hospice they say is being built. When I asked what he meant by local, he mentioned Gorleston in Norfolk - pretty sneaky since it’s kinda local, same county and all. Anyway, I don’t trust handing over cash on a phone call, even if it was legit. I ended the call, then looked up the area code and it was actually from Scarborough - miles away. Sounds like this might be the latest trick, pulling on your heartstrings to scam folks. Watch out, definite scam vibes here!

Most of the time, when a call cuts off after about 4 or 5 rings, I reckon it's just some telemarketer.

Got a call with absolutely no one on the other end. Weird and a bit creepy!

Got a call with no one speaking on the other end, just dead silence. Pretty annoying!
