They said a secret passphrase I did share a few years back with some other firm about a home service contract that was actually a scam. When I start asking stuff, they just drop the call. What I do is ask for the caller’s full name and which company they’re with first. Then I request an invoice by snail mail. They always say the payment has to happen "right now".
