Got a call from someone saying they were from this place called RMI or something. She insisted my boss had emailed her to ring me. When I told her that my boss is dyslexic and I handle his emails, so there’s no way he asked her, she suddenly got really nasty and said she’d report me. I just told her to do whatever she wants. Proper strange call.

They called me up saying I could get some kind of discount on my phone bill or whatever. Wanted to chat about their phone system too, but it just sounded like the usual spiel.

The first call was about talking to someone who works for us. When they phoned our other business line, they just hung up right after we picked up!

I keep getting calls about ISDN updates, but we don’t even have any Openreach lines here - everything’s just Virgin cable. It’s pretty annoying since they keep assuming we’re on their system when we’re not. Wish they’d check before ringing us up all the time.

someone just rang me from this number saying they were with open reach and that our local exchange was getting an upgrade or something. they wanted to know how many phones we have at home. does open reach normally do that? seems a bit fishy to me.
