I too had a missed call from the number +44 1722 549750 just yesterday. It appears to be associated with Salisbury, yet I don't have the faintest idea who might be calling from there. Seems like it could be yet another scam attempt!

Received a call claiming to be from Vodafone, and at first, it appeared to be the real deal. They were offering me a new device tied to my contract, which sounded enticing. However, when they requested my bank card information, I started to feel uneasy. The caller explained it was necessary for a credit check, but I wasn't comfortable with that. He then mentioned that there were other ways to conduct the check without my card details. Oddly enough, he even suggested using the information from an "empty" bank card instead. That conversation took place two days ago, and since then, I've had no further communication from Vodafone. I can’t shake the feeling it was all a scam.

Got a call from a 01722 number but they didn’t leave any voicemail. I’ve started putting my phone on silent for calls from numbers I don’t know or haven’t saved, so I’m not constantly bothered by these annoying spam calls. Looks like that one’s just been booted straight onto my blocked list!

They'd keep ringing nonstop till I actually answered. If I just rejected the call, they’d ring straight back without a pause. I have no clue who they are because all I ever catch is some garbled nonsense about a phone network.

Got a call from some random number in Salisbury, no voicemail or anything left. Just spam I guess, so I put them straight on block.

I received a phone call from a lady who had a slightly foreign accent, claiming she was ringing me about a special offer from Currys or PC World. I ended the conversation quite quickly.

Received a call where the caller simply said "hello" or "goodbye" before dropping the line. Quite odd, really!

I received a call and when I picked up, all I heard was an automated voice saying 'goodbye' before the line went dead. Quite odd, really!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from EE. It felt fishy, so I hung up on them. Total scam!

I missed a call earlier and to be honest, I don't recognise any numbers from Salisbury. After glancing through some of the responses here, I think I'll be steering clear of any future calls from that lot.
