Today I received a phone call from an elderly gentleman who was trying to convince me to switch my energy provider. When I courteously said no, his tone shifted, becoming rather hostile. At that moment, it dawned on me that I was dealing with a scam artist rather than a genuine energy company!

I picked up and this lady just said hello then cut the call right away. I could hear loads of noise in the background like a call centre was there. Even though I’m on the TPS, I still get these annoying calls.

This woman was so persistent trying to sell energy supply for my company, it was unbelievable. I told her politely a few times that I wasn’t interested at all, but she just wouldn’t take no for an answer. Honestly, I had no choice but to just hang up on her, which I hardly ever do. Such annoying pushiness!
