Glad to see I’m not the only one! Had a really rude call from Jessica Brent. She wanted to talk to the director by first name, so after checking, I asked if it was a sales call. She denied it and then asked if he was in a meeting. I said he wouldn’t take the call if it was sales, then she responded, "Wow, may I ask who I’m talking to?" and said she’d email him. Go ahead, Jessica, you probably should’ve just sent an email to start with if you’re that familiar with him, lol!

Said they had "a booked meeting" which wasnt true, just the usual trick to get a foot in the door and sell phones or something like that.

Jessica rang up wanting to talk to my director, said there was a scheduled phone meeting. She asked me to hold while she checked, but when I returned to say that my director wasn’t aware of any such meeting and that it seemed like a cold call, she got quite frustrated. She said she’d call or email him instead. When I asked for his number, she accused me of being rude and just hung up. What a pointless call!

Got a call from 01722 449277, a very polite woman on the other end. She mentioned she was conducting a quick market survey about mobile phones. Asked me how long I've had my phones for and how many I own, then she thanked me and hung up. All good, no problems at all...

Got a phone survey call, told them we was busy and asked if they could ring back on Friday. They just ignored it and kept calling anyway, so i ended up blocking the number.

She keeps ringing up askin for our company director, who’s never come across anyone called Jessica or Berry. It’s something about company headsets and she’s really pushy and jumping to conclusions. Told her to pass me through since I was just on the phone with him an hour ago and got a promise of a callback. Proper annoying.

I had the misfortune of dealing with a rather unpleasant lady who rang up, insisting on chatting with the director as if they were old chums, using his first name to create a false sense of familiarity. She was absolutely insistent that she had been told to reach him on that particular line, despite it being a general switchboard number. I kindly suggested she drop him an email or leave a message, explaining that our policy prohibits forwarding calls to the directors. This only seemed to agitate her further, as she snapped back, “I’m not asking you to pass my call, I merely want you to inform him I’m waiting!” In response, I simply said, “Thank you for your call,” and promptly ended the conversation. That number has now been earmarked in my contacts as “do not answer.”

Got a really rude woman phoning, demanding to talk to the company director by his first name, trying to make it sound like they were mates or something. She kept saying she was told to ring that number, even though it’s just the general office line. I offered to pass a message on or email him, as our policy is not to put calls through directly to directors, but she got annoyed and said, “I’m not asking you to transfer me, just to tell him I’m waiting.” I just said “Thanks for calling” and ended the call. Have now saved her number as “block caller.”

Berry Research has rung me up again, I think this is about the 15th time now. They seem to switch between different phone numbers. They just ask a couple of questions about how many phones we own and how long we’ve had them. Honestly, it's more of a nuisance than anything else.

Oh no, Jessica Brent definitely isn’t the kind of caller you want first thing on a Monday! She rang trying to get hold of our director but got me instead, his assistant. I told her he wasn’t available but said I could help with anything she needed. She just said “I will email” and didn’t seem very polite about it. Got a call from Jessica Brent, and she was so rude! She asked to talk to the owner, and when I asked what it was about, she just gave that typical sales spiel saying "They’ll know." I mentioned he normally shares his own number, but she got quite cheeky and told me to just let him know she was calling. I checked with him, and surprise, surprise, he wasn’t around. Really impolite and made no sense at all!
