I received a rather unexpected phone call the other day - not quite the dreadful experience I had anticipated, especially given the reputation of utility firms. The chap, who introduced himself as Mike, was rather upfront about us not having had a prior conversation. He then moved on to pitch a telephone and IT system casually. I found him to be quite pleasant and affable, which stood in stark contrast to some of the impolite interactions I'd heard about. Perhaps I just happened to ring him on a fortunate day! Though we’ve already made our upgrades and thus had no interest in what he was selling, I must admit his manner was appealing enough that I might have entertained the idea had we still been in the market.

This number keeps calling, requesting a specific Director by her name-information that’s readily accessible from Companies House, mind you. They claim to have had a previous conversation with her. Honestly, it's rather dubious since if they truly were acquainted with her, they’d surely be aware that she doesn’t use the First Name registered there, but rather her more familiar nickname.
