Got a call on my home phone from someone claiming their engineers would be working nearby soon. They wanted details about my manhole cover location. When I said I hadn’t heard of their company or the project, they told me it was a new scheme so I wouldn’t know about it. I questioned if this could be a scam, and the person got quite rude. When I said I wasn’t interested in their drainage service, the caller got annoyed and started going off on a rant before I hung up. Just a heads up to be cautious!

KC Nationwide are up to their old tricks, pressuring older people again. My Aunt got a call saying she had to pay £189.99, and that the amount would increase if she didn’t sort it out quickly. Total scam, really nasty behaviour.

Kiren Lee Osborne, 27, from Hinton Road, Bournemouth, pleaded guilty to causing damage to a fixed odds betting machine at the Coral shop on Richmond Hill in Bournemouth on 5th December. They have been given an 18-month conditional discharge. Kiren also has to pay a £21 victim surcharge and cover £85 in court costs.

Kiren Lee Osborne, 28, from Lanfranc Close, Salisbury, has pleaded guilty to attacking PC Thomas, who was performing his duties at the time. The incident took place on March 3rd at the Bournemouth Divisional HQ on Madeira Road. Kiren was sentenced to 10 weeks in jail, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £120 in compensation.

This morning I got a letter from kc nationwide services ltd claiming they’ve taken money from me. I don’t even know who these lot are. It’s a total scam, they’ve nicked £200 from my account. I tried ringing them back but the voicemail was full. What a coincidence, absolute scumbags!

Totally dodgy firm!! The guy in charge is called Kieron Lee Osbourne! These lot are proper scammers and deserve to be taken to court. I’ve got his office address in Salisbury and plan to send some training guidelines over there soon. Also, I’m intending to report him to his payment processor first thing tomorrow!

Beware of Southwest Drain Services Ltd/KC Nationwide Services Ltd, they phoned my mum saying she'd been charged £400 for drain work she never had. Since my mum's renting, any repairs should be handled by the landlord, not her. It's horrible that folks do this kind of thing - it really makes me angry and something needs to be done to put an end to it.

My 87 year old father-in-law just got a call saying he missed a payment of £199.99 for some kind of cover he had no clue about. When he asked questions, they threatened to take the money out of his bank. They got really rude and pushy too. This is a total scam and something clearly needs to be done to stop these people.

This number keeps phoning my cousin, who’s a vulnerable person, saying they’re from S W Drains or something like that. They’re asking for £87 a month but when you try to call back, it goes straight to a voicemail that’s always full. I can’t find any info on these people online. It’s really affecting my cousin’s mental health badly now. Be warned, this is definitely a scam number.

This is seriously dodgy, and definitely a scam. My mum got a letter saying money was being withdrawn from her bank account by them, and if we had any questions, we should call the number provided. But it was a mobile phone number. When I called, it just went straight to voicemail, but for a completely different number. The letter said it was from South West Drain Service LTD, but it’s not connected to them at all. Can't trust it.

Got a message saying I'd signed up for a drain service contract with Southwest Drain Service Ltd, which I definitely didn’t. Today, a letter arrived thanking me for a payment and saying I'd agreed to a year-long plan costing £57 a month, taken by direct debit. I never gave any permission for this. Tried ringing the number they provided, but the voicemail was full. I’m planning to get in touch with my bank and report this to Action Fraud.

My elderly mum got a cold call from someone pushing a pricey insurance or service agreement for drain cleaning she really didn’t require. They talked her into setting up a direct debit for £199, and then mysteriously took another £195 without telling her why. I found it curious seeing so many good reviews about KC Nationwide when the company itself was only set up fairly recently, on 15th July 2020. Thought I’d check the official register and sure enough, there it was - “beta[###]panieshouse.gov.uk/company/12746610“. Just seems a bit odd to me given how new they are.

My mum, who’s elderly, fell victim to these scammers too. The director behind it all is linked to South West Drain Services Ltd, and they’re pulling the same stunt there. Mum got a letter saying she’s covered with KC, which oddly enough only got registered as a company this month. The letter didn’t have any address or proper company info, and there was no mention of any direct debit guarantee. Honestly, it all feels super dodgy to me.

Got a call from this number earlier today, and it was just a quick reminder about a payment I’ve got coming up for my house insurance. I do recall signing up for it, so it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Actually, last year when I needed to make a claim, they were quite supportive. On the 11th of August, I got a call from someone claiming to be KC Nationwide Services, saying they could reduce my fees for the year since I hadn't made any claims. When I requested a website or my policy details, they couldn't provide any because I don’t even know of having a policy with them. The caller, who introduced herself as Claudia, was quite impolite. I ended the call and have now reached out to my bank just in case.
