someone rang me up pretending to be from microsoft, said my computer was at risk and they needed me to let them check it for security reasons.

Got a voicemail that sounded like it was from BT, saying there was a security issue with my internet. They wanted me to press 1 or 2 to sort it out or something like that. I just ended the call straight away because I figured it was one of those scams trying to get you onto a premium line and bleed your wallet. These scam calls are seriously annoying nowadays.
