Classic BT con that. Had an Indian chap on the line, and I managed to hold him for a good five minutes - just long enough to ruffle his feathers a bit and toy with his mind. In the end, he let it slip that he was actually ringing from Sri Lanka, after I called him out on being Indian. Just let them know that your caller ID reveals their location, and it does the trick brilliantly!
