Got a dodgy call from a bloke with an Indian accent, saying he was from BT tech support, saying there was an issue with my internet. I asked him for my BT account number, and he tried to tell me the last two digits - but they were completely off. I just hung up after that. Then I dialled 1471 to check the number, but when I tried calling it back, all I got was a beep saying “number can’t be reached” or something similar. Pretty fishy if you ask me.
