We've come across this number on some rather odd letters here in Germany. Just today, we discovered one tucked away in our mailbox. It didn’t have a return address, just this number (along with a local one for callbacks). After doing a bit of digging on other bulletin boards, it seems that we’re not the only ones; others have received similar letters too. We’re starting to suspect this might be some sort of new ploy to part us from our cash.
