this classic scam call keeps coming up, usually with an indian accent claiming to be from bt or sometimes even 'british telecom'. last week, they told me my ip address was at risk and threatened to cut off my phone line within a day. ive been getting calls like this for over a decade now, often several times a month from different numbers. honestly, im shocked that bt themselves havent done more to stop these fake calls using their name.
