Had a really annoying call from this bloke who was so rude. I told him I wasn’t interested and he just slammed the phone down. Then, about an hour or so later, the phone goes again. I ignored it for a while, nearly 3 minutes, but had to pick up in the end. As soon as I said hello, the person just said “bye” and hung up right away. Proper invasive and just so disrespectful. Made me feel really uneasy.

Got a call from this number today, the lady asked if I’d been getting any annoying calls recently. I told her no, and she said the phone preference service was improving their system so I wouldn't get any more spam calls. Then she just went silent, so I asked if there was more to say and she just cut the call. Bit odd if you ask me.

Got a call today from a company claiming they manage phone services and can stop those annoying spam calls. I just told them to block their number instead. After that, the line just cut off.

Got a call from someone who said he was "Peter" at the Telephone Preference Service. He seemed to have quite a bit of info on me like my name and address, and even mentioned I pay my phone bill through direct debit - stuff that's either publicly available or maybe just lucky guesses. When he started asking for my bank card details, I questioned why he needed that and said there’s no way I’m sharing any bank info. I ended up just hanging up. Now he’s saved in my phone as "Scam Caller".

Every day this number keeps ringing me up. As soon as I pick up (I'm a bloke), they just hang up straight away. Pretty clear it’s some sort of scam or sales call. Honestly, these people should be stopped from operating - it’s about time they were shut down!

Someone called claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and was pretty forceful, even a bit rude, asking me for loads of personal info like my name, address, how I pay my phone bills, and the expiry date on my credit card. I wasn’t having it and told them no before hanging up. They rang me back shortly after, but I ended the call straight away again. I kept pressing for a callback number and they eventually gave me 0203 6300336. When I checked this number here, loads of others have reported similar dodgy calls from it.

Got a call from 01721333013, some bloke saying he was a manager at a UK firm for blocking calls. He asked if we pay Sky by direct debit, then started asking questions about my card - when it expired and if it was still valid. Then he wanted the numbers on the card under my name, which I flat out refused to give. Ended the call right there. They rang about ten times after that, but once my husband told them they were harassing us, no calls since thankfully.

Got a call earlier claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service, saying they'd stop all those annoying calls starting tomorrow. They wanted me to verify my name, address and postcode first. Then they asked if I pay my phone bill by direct debit. When I asked why that mattered for stopping nuisance calls, the line just went dead!

Got a couple of calls today from someone saying he was from Telephone Preference Management. The bloke’s name was Adam, sounded like he was from west London but mentioned Scotland at one point? He claimed he wasn’t trying to sell anything but just wanted to chat about nuisance calls. I told him I get loads, especially from his outfit, and asked him multiple times to take me off their list. He just wouldn’t do it! Honestly, it’s getting so annoying, especially since I’ve already signed up for the BT preference service.

Got a call from someone saying they were from telephone preference management or something, asking if I was getting annoying calls. I said yes, like this very one, and told them I’m signed up with the telephone preference service. Then they just ended the call! Now I’ve blocked the number. Even though I’ve got BT Call Protect, I’m fed up with constantly having to block these scammy cold calls. Seriously, BT, Ofcom, TPS - please sort this mess out!
