a woman with a thick “black” accent rang me and kept asking how i was. i told her to stop and hung up straight away. she said it was about ppi, no doubt a scam.

This number rang me and a lady with a strong accent I struggled to follow said they could assist me with a claim or something like that, also asked why I hadn't replied to their earlier message. If they tried before, it must have been from some other number which I’d probably saved in my phone as ANNOY1 or ANNOY2 or something. I told her I wasn’t interested and asked her to stop calling. She kept going on with “but madam... blah blah” so I just ended the call. This one’s going straight in my phone as ANNOY3.

Got a call today, but checked this site first before picking up. Thank goodness I did. They left a voicemail that was only about 6 seconds long, with a bloke talking quietly in the background, sounded like he had an Indian accent.

I keep getting calls about ppi claims from this number when I’m at work. They seem to tweak the number slightly each time, makes it a nightmare to block them properly. My elderly mum has a similar area code, so I usually pick up just in case it’s something urgent. Can’t find a way to make these calls stop.

On the 27th of February 2015, I got a call on my mobile from this number. I tried calling back today using the 141 prefix to hide my number, but it just went to an answerphone. The message was from Black Pearl Claims, saying their office is shut. From what I found online, their address is Black Pearl Claims Ltd, Albion Court, 5 Albion Place, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 6JL. However, this phone number doesn't seem to be listed with them anywhere. I’m certain this was a cold call because I’ve got no claims to follow up on.
