Got a call from someone claiming BT was about to disconnect our internet. We're actually with TalkTalk, so I told my missus to just hang up straight away. I've blocked the number now so they can't bother us anymore.

Got a call from someone claiming to be British Telecom telling me my internet was gonna get disconnected. Since I’m not even with BT (I’m pretty sure that was Openreach or something?), I just hung up straight away.

They keep calling but never leave a message. If they ring again, I’m thinking of just taking the phone off the hook for a bit to stop them bothering anyone else.

I've been getting multiple calls daily from this number and others, saying they're from BT and warning my internet will be cut off within an hour. There's also a recorded message that tells you to press 1 if you're a BT customer or 2 if not. Totally a scam, don't even bother answering or pressing anything, just hang up.
