Just a couple of hours ago, someone called saying they were Kevin from my bank, telling me I was owed a refund. Definitely a scam.

I got a call from someone named John who said the government was going to send me a cheque. Would be great if that were true!

I’ve received calls from this number, and it’s becoming a right pain. They claim they want to send me a cheque? It all seems rather suspicious, if you ask me.

Just had a call from Claims Direct, some woman called Angela said I was owed money. She gave me an address out of the blue, which I told her wasn’t right as we’ve never lived there. When I asked her why she needed my current address and said they should already have it if we’ve been in contact before, she just ended the call. Sounds like a total scam to me.

Someone called me, saying they were from a place I couldn’t really make out. Then they said they were with the Ministry of Justice, talking about sending me a cheque to pay back some secret bank fees. They knew my name and address, which was a bit worrying. When I told them I thought it sounded like a scam, they said they weren’t even asking for my bank info. But when I pointed out that government offices don’t normally do things like that over the phone, they just hung up. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

I got a call and they asked for a Mr Coles. I said there’s no one by that name at this number. Then I asked who was calling, but the person just called me a foul name and ended the call straight away. Totally rude!

Got a call claiming they were gonna refund me money from over 20 years ago, but then wanted my bank info to process it! As if I'd just hand over my details for some so-called refund. Seemed dodgy from the start, wouldn't be surprised if it was a scam.
