This woman said I could get a £60 Sainsbury’s voucher and somehow knew where I live. But then she tried sneaking in questions about me, like my age, without just asking straight up. I stopped her and asked why she was really ringing and said if it was legit she should’ve said she was calling from such and such and asked if I wanted a voucher for answering some questions about me and my home. Don’t hand over your details to folks like this. Total phishing and scam stuff. I’ll be reporting it for sure.

Somebody phoned me saying they were from a customer rewards group linked to Tesco and Sainsburys, telling me I’d won a £50 voucher. She even had my address sorted. When I told her I never shop at those places and that it sounded dodgy, she just hung up on me.

It's really the scammers to blame, not the shops themselves. They pretend to be from companies they guess the person might use. I've told Action Fraud about it, and if more folks do the same, there’s a better chance these crooks will get caught.
