I got a call about some kind of survey and they told me if I answered the questions, no one else would bother me again. But when I said I didn’t want to take part, they started being really impolite. Proper annoying, honestly!

They never said a word, so I have no clue who was calling.

This number has called me about 5 times over the past week. It's one of those 'survey' calls where they say if you complete it, no companies will call you after. I told them I’m on the 'do not call' list, so they really shouldn’t be contacting me. The questions they ask are the usual ones about what kind of home you have, your energy suppliers, and so on. I asked them not to call again but, as you’d expect, they rang back anyway. I had a few choice words with them this time, but I doubt it’ll stop them ringing me again.

I wasn’t really able to catch the company’s name clearly, but the caller kept asking if I was employed or retired. When I tried to find out why, she just went over the same question a few times, saying she wasn’t after any financial details. No clue what the call was about, but it was pretty irritating and felt like harassment.

Best to ignore it, definitely one of those robotic call centres having a go! Fingers crossed the managing director gets caught and slapped with a hefty fine they deserve.
