Some person rang saying they were from Vodafone and told me about an early upgrade deal. They explained all the phones available, but I felt a bit suspicious and didn’t want to proceed. So I called Vodafone myself later and they told me I wasn’t actually up for an upgrade yet. Glad I didn’t carry on with it. I’d say be careful and steer clear.

I wasn't sure about this number, so I rang Vodafone on my mobile. They checked it for me and said it’s a valid number linked to one of their shops in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. So it doesn’t seem dodgy. When I phoned the number back, they told me I was eligible for a phone upgrade and arranged delivery of a new Samsung S9. To be certain, I got in touch with Vodafone customer service myself soon after and they confirmed everything.

While I was in Iceland, I discovered they’d somehow signed me up for a £12 monthly plan without me knowing. It’s been a bit stressful, but thankfully I managed to switch back to my original plan. Vodafone were really good about it and helped me sort everything out. Definitely learnt not to get caught out like that again. Would advise anyone to just hang up on this number!

Got a call out of the blue from this number, trying to pitch me a deal nearly identical to my Vodafone plan but cheaper by a couple of quid a month. Turns out, while I was in Iceland, they’d somehow got me signed up for a £12 per month contract. Been quite stressed about it, but luckily managed to switch back to my old Vodafone plan.
