I've been getting heaps of dodgy calls lately from some sketchy company with a really fishy name. Total scam vibes.

He asked if he could speak to the owner, so I said I was the owner and told him I wasn’t bothered about any meter readings. Then they just ended the call.

This number rang our reception at the office earlier. They wanted to speak to the 'business owner' but as I explained we’re an Italian firm and that the owner was available, they just ended the call. I tried calling back because it’s not right to just cut off when you’re the one who called, but when they answered it was just to hang up straight away. Felt really dodgy and quite disrespectful!
