They just ended the call straight away after ringing me.

I got a call from someone claiming it was about my TV, so I asked them for the model and serial number and they hung up straight away.

I just got a call from a guy called Tam, sounded foreign, trying to sell me some kind of insurance for my household stuff like TV, fridge and cooker. He was saying it’d drop from about £20 to £11.99 a month. If anything breaks, they’ll send some expert round to fix it, and if that expert can’t fix it, they’ll replace the item. He said he’d send me something in writing soon, but then payments would start coming out of my account from the 10th of next month, probably right into his pocket. I couldn’t stand the nonsense anymore and just hung up. Total scam, if you ask me.
