2 yearsI picked up because it looked like a nearby number. Then an automated voice claimed there were some dodgy activities on my bank account (didn’t say which bank). They mentioned a £300 purchase at Amazon and a transfer abroad for over £1000. Since I hadn’t made any of these payments, they said they needed to talk to me. Press 1 to stop the payments or press 2 to talk to an agent. I just ended the call straight away. Thought it smelled like a scam, but rang my bank just to be sure. Everything turned out fine.
