I received a rather alarming call from someone claiming to be from the National Insurance Fraud team, alleging that my National Insurance number had been at risk at the border. When I answered, a woman was on the line and inquired why I was calling. I mentioned she had reached out to me first, but before I could finish my sentence, she hung up without a word. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!
