Had this happen twice already this week. Got an automated call coming from a local landline (both times 01709). They claimed to be my bank’s fraud team checking on a £300 Amazon purchase and a £1200 international transaction on my card, though they didn’t say which card. They asked me to press buttons to confirm or talk to an agent. Pretty clear it was a scam just trying to grab my info. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
