Got a call from a chap named Robin Taylor claiming he was ringing on behalf of BT. Thing is, I don’t even have BT as my provider. Played along for a while before hanging up. He rang again, asking why I’d ended the call so quickly. Pretty sure it was a scam. The third time he rang, I let it go to voicemail. His message said he was off to the head office and threatened to disconnect my internet for not giving him the info he wanted, telling me to go there myself! Of course, no disconnection happened. He sounded really pushy and quite intimidating.
