Today, I finally managed to pick up, and the caller claimed to be from a firm regarding our Royal Bank of Scotland mortgage. The thing is, we haven't been associated with them in ages! After a brief exchange, she thanked me and abruptly ended the call. Quite perplexing, really. It seems their records are hopelessly outdated.
