This number has been incessantly ringing our house during the late hours!

I received a call from these folks earlier today, but unfortunately, no one was available to take it. My partner was on the verge of ringing them back, not recognising the number. Luckily, your site has helped clarify the situation. In future, when they reach out again, I’ve advised everyone to respond with, “Just a moment, I’ll fetch the person you need,” and then simply hand over the phone to them. They’ll be the ones footing the bill for that little game!

I received five calls today from 07530584763. Every time I answered, they hung up immediately. Seems to be linked to Sterling Insurance Co.

We finally had a natter with them. It's a company called Stirling Insurance that peddles private injury cover. They called us up simply because we've got a store card from a popular retailer. We firmly declined their offer, and that was the end of it.

For the last month, we've been getting calls from this number, and whenever we pick up, there's just a quick snippet of someone talking alongside what sounds like a call centre buzzing in the background. If you try to return the call, it tells you it’s the Stirling Insurance firm Ltd, reaching out about various goods and services, and it seems they might call again!

We've been receiving a barrage of calls on our home phone, practically every day! It's a bit bewildering, really. Some folks are saying these callers are linked to GE Money, but that’s not quite right. You see, GE Money ceased trading under that name a while back and is now under the management of Santander, much like a lot of other enterprises these days. I’ve held multiple GE cards over the years, yet these incessant calls have only ramped up recently, which leads me to firmly believe they stem from Santander. It's all rather peculiar, to be honest!

We've had persistent calls from this number, along with another similar one (01709 763840). On one occasion, we answered, only to hear a simple "hi" before they seemingly hung up. It feels like a ploy to lure us into calling them back, possibly to hit us with hefty charges. We've decided not to take the bait!

We’ve been getting a few missed calls from 017097652 and 01709763840. After seeing these posts, we're quite relieved we didn’t return the calls!

Is there any way to prevent this number from calling my iPhone?

This number keeps ringing our phone, and we always seem to miss the calls. It's rather perplexing, especially since we're registered with the TPS. It’s quite annoying that they’re allowed to get through. Is there any way to stop them from calling us?

We receive a call from this number almost daily. We attempted to contact them and requested that they remove our number from their records, but it seems our request has gone unheard. In the end, we left a formal message stating that we've started noting down these calls and that we may involve the authorities if it continues.

This number has been ringing us incessantly, and I must say, it’s becoming rather bothersome. Surely there must be a way to put an end to these calls!

We receive no fewer than four calls each day, often lasting until around 7 in the evening. We'll be lodging a complaint with Orange regarding this persistent nuisance caller.

This number appears to be associated with all the branches of GE Money, including various store cards, credit cards, and insurance offerings. It seems that information linked to these services is stored in a database and potentially sold to other companies in the finance and insurance sectors.

Sounds like it's Sterling Insurance on the line again, probably just another pushy sales pitch. Best to just ignore it folks!

Keeps calling us all the time, but we never pick up. Strangely, they never leave a voicemail either.

We're getting calls from this number quite frequently. It sounds like there's a call centre running in the background and then it just disconnects. It’s quite exasperating, to say the least!

Absolutely, we reckon this is a clear scam! We ended up calling them back, not realising right away, just when we were anticipating an important call. Folks, stay alert!

This number has been a right nuisance, calling us 17 times since the 17th of June 2009! Our caller ID confirms every single attempt. To be honest, we’ve not been at home to pick up as we’ve been busy with work and living our lives. When are these callers going to take a hint and realise they’re just wasting their breath? It’s quite baffling!

If you happen to receive a call from this number, it’s likely due to having ticked or unticked a box permitting various agencies to get in touch with you while completing a form. To stop their calls, you’ll need to ring them back and leave a message with your phone number; they should remove you from their list within a couple of days. Unfortunately, it seems that this particular number is responsible for making those calls.

If you're in the mood for a bit of mischief, give this a whirl: dial 141 first, then their number. Once you're connected, sneakily switch your phone to private and sit back to enjoy their bewilderment! It's time for a bit of sweet revenge-make sure you pick a moment when you've got some spare time, and only do this with landlines when it's cost-free for you. These callers need to feel the irritation, and if enough of us give them the cold shoulder, they might just find themselves in a bit of bother. Let’s reclaim some of that power, shall we? Cheers! - ALPHAMAN

We've received quite a few calls lately. Thankfully, the voicemail picks up, so we don't have to deal with them. We simply ignore the incoming calls.

We received a call from these individuals claiming to be associated with our ASDA credit card (GE Money). They were trying to peddle some products that they thought we might fancy, presumably insurance-related. I ended the conversation rather abruptly.

I find it absolutely vexing, and I'm determined to take action! How about we start a petition to Downing Street urging them to prohibit all cold calls to mobile numbers? The constant interruptions are incredibly disruptive; the moment your phone buzzes, you feel compelled to check it in case it’s something urgent. But lo and behold, it turns out to be yet another tedious sales pitch! It's enough to drive anyone mad!
