Yesterday my mother in law got a phone call saying that £600 was taken out of her account and to press 1 if she didn't do it. We’ve always warned her about these sorts of calls being scams so she just hung up. We also told her not to answer or respond to any other calls pretending to be from Visa.

Last week I got two calls from someone claiming they were from VISA, saying £600 had been withdrawn from my account. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone about it. I just hung up straight away both times. Later, I looked at my bank statement and there was no sign of any withdrawal like that.

Got a robo call saying there was a £600 charge on my Visa or Mastercard from abroad. Couldn't believe they didn't specify which card! Hung up straight away. Definitely a scam attempt.
