Had a dodgy call from someone called Anna, who eventually said she was ringing from Goa. Strange thing was, she knew my name straight away. She said she was calling from Microsoft’s main office in Reading, even though the number showed up from Rotherham. She told me to sit at my computer and press some keys because apparently I’d been hit by cyber crime. I humoured her for about seven minutes before telling her to piss off. At least that time she wasn’t bothering anyone else. I tried ringing her number back with my caller ID blocked but it just kept ringing out.
