I didn’t pick up as the number was unfamiliar. Just by glancing at it, I guessed it was probably some annoying sales call. When I ignored it, the caller ended the call straight away.

I received a call from someone with an accent that seemed to be Indian. He was attempting to persuade me that my computer had issues. I quickly realised it was one of those scams and told him to shove off before ending the call. Not ten seconds later, my phone rang again, this time from a withheld number. I decided to let it ring-why should I foot the bill for their nonsense?

I received two calls from this number on the afternoon of 30th May 2016. The chap on the line had a distinct Indian accent and claimed to represent an IT firm, yet he was rather evasive about the specifics. He started mentioning something about fixing my computer- clearly an attempted ruse. I cut him off before he could proceed, as I had a strong inkling he aimed to gain remote access to my device and siphon off my passwords. Take heed!

I was totally shocked when this computer scammer called, but as soon as I mentioned I'd graduated in IT, she kinda went quiet. Never expected that to work, but it did!

It’s hilarious when those calls come through. I usually keep cool for like ten minutes before I start dropping every swear word I can think of. They actually ring me back sometimes, telling me to jog on! Love messing with them. Just today, one told me I had a virus on my PC. He asked me to switch it on, so I did, then said “What do you see?” and I answered, “Your ugly bloody face, you muppet.” He proper lost it! Honestly, I hope they keep calling, it brightens up my day.

Haha, happened to me as well. It was one of those computer scams. When I asked where they got my number from, they just kept saying it was against company rules to say. Total rubbish if you ask me. I then fibbed and said I studied computer science and that I could tell they were up to no good. They quickly ended the call after that. Classic!
