I'm situated in the northeastern part of Scotland and received two calls from this number today. On the second attempt, I decided to pick up. As is my usual practice, I inquired, 'Who is this?' The chap on the other end was clearly not a native English speaker and claimed he was reaching out regarding Housing Benefits. I found that rather odd considering he rang me from England while I reside in Scotland, where local councils handle such matters. He responded with an "Okaaay" and then abruptly disconnected. Seems to me this is just another scam attempting potential fraud, so I’d recommend steering clear of such calls.
