I'm from the northeast of Scotland and got called twice today from this number. I picked up the second time and, as usual, asked who was on the line. The bloke sounded like he wasn't a native English speaker and claimed it was about Housing Benefits. I told him it was odd since I live up in Scotland and the number was from England - housing benefits are dealt with by local councils here. He just muttered ‘Okaaay’ and ended the call. Seems like some kind of scam or possible fraud, so I’d say don’t bother answering it.
