Someone called pretending they were from TalkTalk tech support, saying there were issues with my router and that others were accessing it without permission. They then asked for my personal info, which seemed dodgy. When I asked them for their contact number, they hung up straight away!

Got a recorded message, sounding kinda English this time, saying it was “a forwarded message from BT.” It told me my broadband and landline were gonna be disconnected soon and asked me to press 1 to speak to an engineer. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.
