I got a call from this number with a recorded voice, but it didn’t say who was calling. The message claimed that people from abroad had hacked into my router and said they’d send a free replacement. They wanted me to press 1 to speak to a tech expert.

Got a call from some scammers threatening to disconnect my internet, but when I phoned BT directly, they said everything was fine.

This number has rung me up about 18 times just last week. Each time it’s an automated message, saying my bt internet will be cut off within 24 hours and to press 1 for more details. Problem is, i don’t even have bt internet, so it’s clearly a con. I got in touch with bt and they mentioned they’re looking into where it’s coming from. Blocking doesn’t help either, the calls still keep coming through.
