Got a call from someone with a foreign accent saying my computer had harmful folders and I should check them out. He claimed he wasn’t trying to sell me anything, which seemed a bit sus to me. Instead of hanging up or being rude like I usually do, I played along just to waste his time. Managed to get an address from him, and quick Google search showed it was definitely a scam. I never bother with surveys or anything like that. Honestly, these scammers need to be stopped, they’re getting way too pushy and it’s dangerous for folks who don’t know any better!

I’ve got an answerphone, but weirdly no one ever leaves a message. I just ignore calls from numbers I don’t know.

I got a call from 01709 370597 saying my computer was getting viruses whenever I logged in. I just ended the call straight away. The bloke gave a very English name, something like Parker, but his accent was clearly Asian.

I just had a rather dodgy call from a so-called tech support chap. He started rambling on about some imaginary issue with my downloads, then proceeded to inform me that my computer would be locked until I handed over some cash for their ‘assistance.’ Quite the scam, if you ask me! Just a heads up to everyone out there-keep your wits about you and stay vigilant. Best, Tim N.

I'm seriously considering ditching my landline. I've had my fill of incessant calls like these. If the phone providers can't get their act together, then what's the point of even having a home phone?

This morning, I got a call from this number, but it was rather odd. After a long pause of silence, a voice finally chimed in with a "hello." Naturally, I inquired who it was, only to be met with silence again before they abruptly hung up. Honestly, what on earth is wrong with these individuals? It’s baffling!

I received a phone call from someone named 'Ian,' claiming to represent my internet service provider. He stated that his superior, 'John', had instructed him to reach out to me regarding an urgent issue with my computer's security. However, when I informed him that I don’t even own a computer, I simply hung up the phone.

Blasted computer con artists! Be sure to block this number at all costs and never, I repeat, never grant them access to your computer! Stay vigilant, folks!

Received an unexpected call today where the chap insisted I was busy downloading all sorts of bits and bobs. I mentioned that I’m all set with my current service provider, who can scrutinise my system. He wouldn’t let up, so I finally said I'd get in touch with my provider. I've encountered similar calls in the past, and they tend to be quite dismissive.

Absolutely, they just called me as well, and I promptly told them to bugger off!

Indeed, I received a call from them earlier, during which they requested that I input a multitude of details. I pretended to comply at first, but then took it upon myself to search for the number, only to uncover that he was attempting to gain access to my laptop. I swiftly told him to get lost; clearly, he was nothing more than a fraudster.

I received a rather dubious call earlier today from someone claiming I had been unknowingly downloading sneaky files onto my computer that even the best antivirus software couldn’t pick up. They wanted me to fire up my machine so they could assist. Naturally, I told him to take a hike!
