I received a call today, dated 12/02/19, from someone who claimed to be from the telephone preference management service. They informed me that my subscription to block telemarketing calls would expire today. However, they had the wrong name and address for me and then proceeded to ask for bank card expiry dates as a means of verification. I simply ended the call, but they were fairly insistent and it worries me that other people may become victims of their scam.
