Got a call earlier from a Rotherham number, asking if I was the owner of a place in the NG postcode (Nottingham). Thing is, they called a Rotherham number from a Rotherham number, so why would they think I’m in Nottingham? That set off warning bells for me. When I told them I’m actually in Rotherham, they said there’s an appointment next month and they’d ring again. Honestly, I can’t even put into words what I want to say next!
