So I got a call from a woman claiming to be from Virgo Windows. When I asked where they are based, she said Bradford, but the number she was calling from had a Rotherham area code. I know Bradford’s area code is 01274, so it didn’t add up. Bit fishy if you ask me.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Virgo Improvements, saying I’ve got a £500 voucher for any work I need done. I mentioned my bedroom window needs replacing, and they passed me onto a bloke who was meant to pop round, give me a quote, and sort out the voucher. Luckily, I postponed the visit as it all felt a bit off to me.
