I've been getting calls from this number and a few others starting with 01. One time, at exactly 13:51, it rang alongside 01277 575551. The 01709 one is from Rotherham, while the 01277 is from Brentwood. Both of these, including the main number, call you but when you try ringing back, there’s just either a long beep or silence before it hangs up. Tried calling back on different phones but same result. If I were you, I’d just ignore it.

The phone rang but I chose not to pick up. Later, they left me a voicemail that just said "Goodbye". I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Yep, got the same thing - said “bye” and just clicked off. Definitely feels like some kind of scam. Block and move on, these pests!
