This 01708208444 number rang me initially, asking to speak with whoever handles the BT Account. I told them my partner sorts that and that I’d call him to check when we need to renew. Got a call from this bloke named Andre, and right from the start, it smelled like a scam. Managed to hang up on him sharpish. Such awful people!

This number says it's from BT but they seemed really dodgy right away. They kicked off by asking if I wanted to renew my internet, which felt off. Honestly, watch out and don’t hand over any personal details to them. Stay safe out there!

Received a call from someone claiming to be BT, saying the BT Broadband deal I had wasn’t available anymore. They then mentioned the name of a director who doesn’t even live here, which was obviously fishy. Definitely a marketing scam trying to pull a fast one.

Someone rang me saying they were from BT about my broadband needing renewal, but they didn’t even know my surname. I mentioned it sounded like a cold call and that I’d report it if they kept going. After that, they got really rude and kept saying it wasn’t a cold call.

This number rang me twice very close together, saying they were from BT. I asked them for some account info to prove who they were, and all they could tell me was that it began with VP. I told them that wasn’t enough proof, and if they were legit, they’d have all my details on hand. They insisted only accounts had that info and wouldn’t put me through to them. I hung up both times. Watch out for this one. I’ve reported it to BT as a scam.
